Scout (they/them) has a special gift and can see superheroes when other people cannot. Scout’s mom is a pilot who takes the family on all sorts of adventures around the world. Every place they go, Scout searches far and wide for real life superheroes!
“The Birdieman of Rio de Janeiro” is Scout’s first Superhero Search! Stay tuned as Scout travels the globe, finding and teaching about real life superheroes from the Global South while fighting implicit bias and discrimination!

Miratus tournament travel money! Sebastião Oliveira and Miratus Badminton Association builds champions on and off the court! It is critical that the kids return to tournaments, and tournament travel changes lives, provides prestige at school, inspires kids to practice even more, and generates monthly badminton stipends that help support families. Covid-19 devastated the favelas of Rio and the badminton athletes of Miratus sprung into action and delivered 72.5 tons of food to feed their neighbors.
